President Prabowo stated that the state would control sectors vital to the country and affecting people’s livelihood, such as rice milling operations, if they do not comply with national interests. He highlighted the government’s efforts to stabilize farmers’ terms of trade and address issues like fake premium rice blends. President Prabowo also ordered investigations into fraudulent practices that result in significant annual losses for the Indonesian people. He condemned these actions as betrayals of the nation and vowed to take firm legal action to uphold the law and Constitution.
