President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, participated in the 79th Bhayangkara Day commemoration ceremony prior to his departure to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta. Dressed in a brown safari suit and black peci, Prabowo arrived at the airbase around 3:15 PM Western Indonesia Time and was bid farewell by high-ranking officials for his official state visit. Accompanying him were Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Minister of Defense Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, and other prominent figures from Indonesia and Saudi Arabia. Before boarding the presidential aircraft at 3:30 PM, President Prabowo observed military cadets practicing a marching band performance at the airbase with Defense Minister Sjafrie. The primary goal of his visit to Saudi Arabia is to reinforce bilateral cooperation between the two countries, especially in relation to the organization of the Hajj pilgrimage and the exploration of potential strategic partnerships. The visit is intended to strengthen the bond between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, promoting mutual understanding and collaboration for the mutual benefit of both nations.
