President Prabowo Subianto has reiterated his administration’s strong commitment to youth education during his State Budget 2026 Financial Note address at the House of Representatives’ plenary session. The allocated budget of Rp 757.8 trillion for education is the largest in Indonesia’s history. Prabowo also addressed the need to strengthen People’s Schools and Garuda Excellence Schools to provide quality education to underprivileged children. Additionally, the government aims to award scholarships to 4,000 students through the LPDP in 2026 to cultivate a generation ready to compete globally.
