During the official launch of the program in Bentangan Village, Klaten, President Prabowo reminded everyone of the mistakes made in the past, particularly during the New Order era. He highlighted the significance of the new cooperative system, which is built on technology and transparency, allowing for real-time monitoring and auditing of all financial transactions. President Prabowo emphasized that the cooperatives belong to the people and urged village heads to actively supervise and ensure that the initiative serves the community as intended. Using a traditional metaphor, he described the power of unity in cooperatives, turning the weak into a strong economic force through mutual cooperation. President Prabowo believes that this movement will rejuvenate Indonesia’s rural economy and decentralize the distribution of resources, redirecting funds from cities to provinces and villages. This strategic approach aims to boost the economy at the regency, district, and village levels, creating a more balanced and inclusive economic landscape for the nation.
