President Prabowo Subianto has announced that 352 TNI soldiers will be taking part in the military parade to mark the 76th anniversary of the Republic of India in New Delhi on January 26, 2025. The announcement was made prior to his departure to India from Halim Perdana Kusuma Airbase in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon. Indonesia is honored by the invitation from the Indian government, allowing Indonesian troops, including Akmil cadets, to be positioned in the front row during India’s anniversary parade. The Indonesian contingent will include 352 TNI soldiers and cadets from the military academy. President Prabowo is scheduled to hold meetings with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss various aspects of bilateral cooperation, such as signing an MoU regarding collaboration in sectors like health, culture, security, maritime safety, and technology. Moreover, discussions with Indian entrepreneurs interested in investing in Indonesia are also planned during his visit.
