WEST BANK – Israeli forces block the entrances to the Khalil Suliman and Ibn Sina hospitals, and are getting closer to the al-Razi Hospital, according to a report by the Aljazirah news agency, Tuesday (11/28/2023). These three hospitals are the main hospitals in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank.
Over the past year, Jenin has become the center of Palestinian resistance to the ongoing Israeli occupation. In addition to blocking several hospitals, on Tuesday (11/28/2023) night Israeli forces raided the neighborhood near the Jenin refugee camp.
The Israeli military deployed more than 50 armored vehicles and four bulldozers to the neighborhood around the Jenin refugee camp. Local residents told Aljazirah that they had seen dozens of soldiers on foot, a rare sight in the area.
At least five Palestinians were injured in the latest Israeli attack in the occupied West Bank refugee camp.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRCS) said that Israeli forces arrested the injured who were inside the PRCS ambulance. At the time of the incident, the ambulance was at the entrance to the hospital in Jenin.
Aljazirah reported that the arrest occurred shortly after the PRCS said that its ambulance, carrying the injured, was prevented from reaching the hospital by Israeli soldiers who raided Jenin. “The person brought by the ambulance suffered gunshot wounds to the leg,” said PRCS.
