President Prabowo Subianto recently received heartfelt letters from junior and senior high school students at Sekolah Rakyat in Cibinong, West Java. The President took time to personally read the letters in his office, as shared through the official Instagram account of the Cabinet Secretariat. The post included photos of President Prabowo engrossed in reading the letters and a handwritten note from a student.
One of the students, Erni Andayani, wrote a moving letter expressing gratitude to the President for inaugurating Sekolah Rakyat and providing access to quality education. Erni highlighted the impact of the school on her aspirations and education, thanking President Prabowo for the opportunity to study with full facilities and pursue dreams with peace of mind.
Sekolah Rakyat was launched for the 2025–2026 academic year and is managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs. The school aims to support children from economically disadvantaged families and currently operates in 63 locations across Indonesia, including Java, Sumatra, Sulawesi, and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT).
